Hello I'm Rich Brown and this is my personal website and blog. I'm just your simple, average, down to earth, professional, out gay man and aspiring circuit boy, living in Phoenix, Arizona with a few things to say while trying to find my place among all the scary, conservative, religious nuts in this sick and twisted world.

@WORK. So I've gotten into this really bad habit at work. For the past few days I've been listening to Capital Radio London. Well I don't know if it's bad or not but all I can say it that it really helps me to get through the day. I really get a kick out of listening to the DJ's, the commercials and the people that call into the radio program. Because of the time difference I catch the evening request program and it's really a good diverse mix of music. Now that I'm unhappy with the way things are going now, but really wish that I would have had that opportunity to go and work in London this year. Everything was all set, I even had my UK Work Visa in hand and then the project I was going to work on fell through and my company decided that they didn't need me to go. It was a huge disappointment. Eventually the work I was doing for them slowed down and my team was let go in April. Oh well at least I have a job anyway, I guess I shouldn't complain. I do think it would have been a great experience for Justin and I to be able to go to the UK and live for a while. I really enjoyed London when I was there in February and I know Justin would like it as well. I'm very hopeful that we will be able to go on vacation next year and spend a few weeks in Europe. I sort of think it's funny that prior to this year, one of the places I really wanted to visit was London. I don't know what the attraction was, I think just because of the history and how it is portrayed to us in the movies and television. And all of a sudden I was working with a company with a London office and on a flight to the UK. I had such a good time when I was there that I would jump at the opportunity to go back for a while. I think if I really had the opportunity come up to do something long term in the UK I would jump on it. We become so U.S. centric here that we sometimes forget about the rest of the world. Can you imagine the experiences you could gain by going to work in Europe for a few years. The ability to travel, sightsee and experience new cultures. Well for now I guess I will just continue to plug away at my current job and keep that dream alive for another day.
