Hello I'm Rich Brown and this is my personal website and blog. I'm just your simple, average, down to earth, professional, out gay man and aspiring circuit boy, living in Phoenix, Arizona with a few things to say while trying to find my place among all the scary, conservative, religious nuts in this sick and twisted world.

@WORK. Wow, it's been a few weeks since I've actually had the time to sit down and write anything. It's been a busy past few weeks. Justin and I spent some vacation time in California from June 24 thru July 2nd. We went to San Francisco for Pride weekend and then down to Monterey to spend some time with his family and old friends. It was a fun time. We stayed with Philip for the weekend of Pride. Philip, Bee, Justin and I went out to the Colossus party on Saturday night. It was a blast.
It was really nice to be back in San Francisco for a while. I was really missing being in the city. The first day back there as we were walking around in the Castro, all I could think about was what we were missing out on by not being in the city. I kept thinking to myself that we should move back. By the third day, I had already caught a cold or sinus infection which reminded me of all the times I got sick when I was living in San Francisco. All I could think at that point was "Hell NO I'm not moving back here ..." LOL, at least I got my city fix for a while. Overall it was a really nice trip for us and I enjoyed the time there. I don't think we will go back again next year for pride because everything was just too crowded and difficult to get around. I think if we go back it will be sometime in the spring or fall when we can spend time with our friends and in the city without having the crowd.
I'm actually glad to be back in Phoenix, but it sure has gotten hot and humid here over the past week. We had an awsome monsoon storm the other night which dumped a considerable amount of rain on us. My front lawn is loving life right now. Also the thunderstorm and lightening was quite a show. At least Berger dosn't mind the noise.
Right now we have Zack, Koda, and Maya at the house. We picked them up yesterday since Mark, Andrea, Don and Kris are in Hawaii for Trish and Matt's wedding. It's been crazy and I didn't get any sleep last night because the dogs were running around and barking most of the night. I'm going to go have to go and get the baby gate to keep them in the room so they aren't all over the house again tonight.
Well I have a conference call I have to join, so I'll get back to this later.
