Hello I'm Rich Brown and this is my personal website and blog. I'm just your simple, average, down to earth, professional, out gay man and aspiring circuit boy, living in Phoenix, Arizona with a few things to say while trying to find my place among all the scary, conservative, religious nuts in this sick and twisted world.

Firms Taking Action Against Worker Blogs
@WORK. How appropriate. So knowing that I'm an avid blogger, my friend Mark forwarded me this article from MSNBC regarding Blogging and how it may affect you career. It appears that people are starting to get fired for statements and photos in their personal blogs. I guess that's why I make is a point to not really write about work and how miserable I am here ;-) I can understand a companies perspective if someone is writing a bunch of negative things about them, giving away trade secrets, or posting naked pictures of themselves at work but otherwise I think it's a bit ridiculous. I mean an print on the copier never hurt anyone. LOL. It actually never occurred to me that our jobs are not protected under the 1st Amendment freedom of speech. I guess you learn something new every day. Maybe I need to read up on my law books, especially since I was telling my friends yesterday I was going to go online and buy one of those $50 law degrees you can get. Maybe I'll just become an internet ordained preacher instead, I think you can buy those now too. Just kidding.
As for me ... well I'm feeling much better today despite still being a little tired. I think I'll go to bed early tonight. I would have gotten some more sleep last night had Justin not decided to molest me in the middle of the night. Fun stuff let me tell you. Have a great week everyone and I'll write more later. Cheers!
