Hello I'm Rich Brown and this is my personal website and blog. I'm just your simple, average, down to earth, professional, out gay man and aspiring circuit boy, living in Phoenix, Arizona with a few things to say while trying to find my place among all the scary, conservative, religious nuts in this sick and twisted world.

To All Of You Who Can't See For Yourselves!
@HOME. One last thing before I go to bed. This is for all of you who can't see past your own small minds. As I've always said for years, there are so many different people out there, all with different interests, beliefs, desires, needs and mindsets. I always wonder why it's so difficult for people to just respect others even though you don't understand or even agree with how they have chosen (or not chosen) to live their lives.
This is all so very true for those of us that are gay. We just want to be treated with the same respect and courtesy that is given by default to every other heterosexual without question. Remember this one fact, we are your children, your family, your neighbors, your co-workers and common members of this world. We are not some monsters out there with a plan or an agenda, we are just people with common desires and feelings. I can only hope that someday we will be allowed to show our true love without fear of scorn and be allowed to publicly acknowledge the person we choose to spend our lives with and have that recognized worldwide.
I really do have the best partner in the world and I would never choose to spend my life without him. Justin, I love you and nothing will ever change that. You have taught me so many things and I can only hope that I have done the same in return! Justin is probably the only person who would put up with me and my antics.
What I really can't understand are religious fanatics who find it necessary to work towards making life more difficult for us. They quote the bible and pretend what they are doing is in the name of God. They are trying to make themselves feel like better people and give their lives some sort of purpose. Not to get too deep into religion here, but I was raised Catholic, isn't religion supposed to teach love, compassion, understanding and acceptance. Aside from the Catholic guilt from sins, we take responsibility for our own actions and have to answer to God ourselves. Until then people should actually try to live by their teachings rather then picking and choosing a random passage out of the bible that suits their own agenda.
When it comes down to it I know what is in my heart and if there is truly a God somewhere, he/she will know the same and know that we are all truly good people. We just want to live our lives, be role models for others and strive make our lives just a little better. Isn't that really what life is supposed to be about in the end?
Alright enough of my ranting. I'm finally going to bed! Cheers!.
I'm not sure what brought this post about Rich, but I agree with everything you said. I may be straighter than an arrow, but I get madder than a hornet about this subject. In my soul I believe that we are ALL alike, black or white, short or tall, gay or straight ~~ we are ALL beautiful spirits walking around in bodies, here to learn lessons and learn to love one another. God didn't create us differently so that we could bash each others' differences.....He created us with our own uniqueness, but He loves everyone of us just the way He made us!!! WAKE UP, WORLD!!!
