@HOME. Despite my cold earlier in the week, I managed to get over it and have a great time today. The weekend has been great so far, it's been sunny and 90 degrees for both Friday, Saturday. My friend Philip flew into town from San Francisco for the weekend to hang out with us.
We started off the weekend on Friday night at Hamburger Mary's meeting up with Bruce, Tracy, Anthony and some others. We made our way down to Pookies for dinner and then over to Amsterdams for drinks. Saturday morning was an early one, as we decided to march with our company's pride group in the Pride Parade at 9am which goes up through central Phoenix and ends at the pride festival. This was our first time in the Phoenix parade and it was so much fun hanging out with friends and throwing out pride beads to all the people gathered along the 3-mile parade route. After the parade Philip, Justin and I went back to Doug and Mykle's house to wash up a bit since our suntan lotion caused some of the color on the pride beads to rub off on our necks. After getting cleaned, Doug dropped the 3 of us back off at the festival and we ran into Bruce and Tracy where we spend the afternoon walking around and running into a few friends. All in all, the day was a great deal of fun. We're headed out to the Adonis Post party tonight which should be a blast. I'll post more pictures from the party! Cheers!.
