Saturday Night Out and About
@HOME. So after spending most of the day on Saturday getting the entire house cleaned, pool cleaned and yard done ...
we decided at the last minute to go out. I know what a surprise right? Of course we started at our usual watering hole, Amsterdam. Amsterdam is currently under some construction and has put in a new patio on the front and side of the bar and is in the process of working on and expanding the back patio. It was pretty dead for a Saturday night however we did catch a glimpse of our favorite hot bartender Tommy. I'm not sure where everyone was but we ran into my friend Gilbert (Blue T-Shirt) and his friend Jamie (Red T-Shirt).
Justin and I stayed at Amsterdam for just one drink and after great debate about where we should go next, we opted for our usual choice of Charlie's. We arrived at Charlie's and to start we could barely find parking. Needless to say it was packed inside as well. I guess Charlie's really is the happening place these days.
It must have been co-worker night because Justin and I ran into a bunch of guys from our office at Charlie's who we've never seen out before. Stoney, Andy, Dirk and Lance (Black Green Lantern T-Shirt) were all there. Our good friend and co-worker, Tracy (Green Pig T-Shirt), showed up stag since he partner Bruce was out of town for a wedding, so Justin and I spent the rest of the night chatting and dancing with Tracy.
It was a pretty mild night this time and Justin and I were home by 3am and quickly tucked ourselves into bed. Cheers!
