Hello I'm Rich Brown and this is my personal website and blog. I'm just your simple, average, down to earth, professional, out gay man and aspiring circuit boy, living in Phoenix, Arizona with a few things to say while trying to find my place among all the scary, conservative, religious nuts in this sick and twisted world.

Last Post & Off to San Francisco
@HOME. Well this is it, the end of 2005. This year seems like it's come and gone with the blink of an eye. I know as you get older time seems to go by more quickly (maybe this is why the elderly drive 45 on the freeway because they feel like their going 80 ...) but this year was ridiculous. It just seems as if Justin and I were celebrating Christmas last year and here we are again now.
In retrospect, this has been a pretty great year. I have so many things to be thankful for and and so many accomplishments that I've been able to complete this year. One of my goals for 2005 was to try and write more. This will be the first time since I started my blog in 1998 that I have an archive file for every month. In the past I used to take much more time away then I do now, which can actually be a good thing sometimes, however I made my goal and I'm happy about that.
This year was also marked with our first big vacation together to Europe which turned out wonderful for us both. We've seen enormous gains in the value of our home, and some nice improvements in our financial situation. This year also brought around the the much needed renovation of our pool, which means no more 'itchy butt' to all our friends. (You guys can all come back and swim this summer, no more reason to avoid us now ... ) And lastly, we've also had some great advancements and gains in our own company this year as well.
So with all that said, it's been a fast year, but also a good one all around. I'm looking forward to to wrapping up 2005 and moving into what's going to be a busy 2006. We're actually headed up to San Francisco for the weekend to spend some time with friends and ring in the New Year, so this will be my last post until next week.
Happy New Year everyone, may it be safe, fun filled and very prosperous for all of you! Cheers!
