Hello I'm Rich Brown and this is my personal website and blog. I'm just your simple, average, down to earth, professional, out gay man and aspiring circuit boy, living in Phoenix, Arizona with a few things to say while trying to find my place among all the scary, conservative, religious nuts in this sick and twisted world.

A Year Of Change For Everyone
This is probably something that I would normally post more towards the end of the year, but I was talking to a few of my friends recently and I've come to realize that 2006 has been a big year of change for almost everyone I know. Parents moving to town, people loosing weight, relationships ending, relationships starting, new jobs, all sorts of different changes for everyone. I can certainly relate because Justin and I have seen quite a few changes in our lives as well. From us becoming gym bunnies and loosing a ton of weight to my Mother moving out here, Justin's new job and our newly found adventures into the Circuit.
I don't know why this year seems to be the year of change. I mean don't get me wrong here, I know that change happens all the time, but it just seems to be more prevalent this year then I ever remember in the past. I think change is good and I think change really helps people feel alive. I believe that we sometimes need change in our lives to make things interesting. I know without a little change here and there I would get overly bored.
From my perspective my friends are all pretty happy with the way everything is going, and I know that Justin and I are extremely happy as well. We've all accomplished things this year we previously thought impossible.
As for me personally, I couldn't be more happy with my life at the moment. I feel amazing, I'm energetic, motivated and I really love how things are shaping up. I think I've really learned what it takes to make me happy this year. I don't seem to have has many down days as I used to have in the past, and when I do have a down day, I can pull myself out of it pretty quickly.
Anyway I'm glad to see that things are evolving and everyone in my life seems happy. I guess this is what life is about and I'm so happy to be able to experience it. Cheers.
You're so right Rich, change is part of life and it's what keeps us fresh and aware instead of stagnating. Sometimes change is very hard, but still it's a part of life.
It's great to know that your life is going so well and that you're so happy. CHEERS!
Oh, and thanks for the hugs, I feel better already. ;-)
