Hello I'm Rich Brown and this is my personal website and blog. Fate & Burn Nightclub Phoenix with Friends
Saturday night was our first night out with Mark and Andrea in quite some time, too long to be honest. We've been traveling, they've been busy, we've been at the gym, they've had a house guest. For whatever reason, too much time has passed since we've seen each other, so we made firm plans for dinner on Saturday night. Andrea called me around 8 to see who was driving, and after picking them up, we then headed over to Fate on 4th & Roosevelt for dinner where Jerry also met up with us.
I've really grown quite fond of the smaller, quaint restaurants in Central Phoenix, with Fate being one of my favorites. Dinner was wonderful, but the drinks could have been a little better. Justin and I tried some Effen Cherry Vodka & Seven, but Mark and Andrea ventured out to try some of the house Martini specials. While the food is always good, my recommendation would be to stay away from the House Martini's unless you really enjoy cucumber and alcohol. After some amazing Chinese appetizers and authentic food, we packed in the car and headed down to Burn Nightclub again for a few drinks and some dancing.
As usual for a Saturday night, Burn was packed and we had to push our way through the crowd to get close to the bar for some drinks. As I was waiting patiently for Chris, my favorite Burn bartender, to get over to me, I felt someone grab my back from behind. I immediately turned to look at who was grabbing me to decided if a scowl or smile would be necessary. I was surprised to see Bruce and Tracy standing there behind me smiling. What a nice surprise to see them out, as I haven't seen them since our trip to San Francisco.
We had several drinks, danced, laughed, made a few new acquaintances and eventually closed out the bar. It was a fun evening spent with friends, and a nice way to spend St. Patrick's day without the obligatory green beer.

I can't believe I was the only one who wore green!

There are several guys wearing Green in those pictures, Jerry. ;-) It's a great color. Mr. Light Green Collar Shirt in picture #2 is SUPER handsome, too!
