Drinks with Jerry & Jason
Justin and I headed up to Central Phoenix this evening to pick up Jerry and head over to Roscoe's on 7th to meet up with our friend Jason who is also originally from Philadelphia. I haven't really talked about Jason on my blog, but Justin and I met him a few months ago and he's a super sweet guy who both Justin and I love spending time with.
While the rest of the boys had a few drinks I was pretty much the designated driver since I couldn't eat or drink anything after 9 PM so as to not skew the lab work for blood sugar and cholesterol that I'm having done in the morning. We had a good conversation, a few laughs and then called it an evening at Roscoe's around midnight.
After we parted ways with Jason, we ended back at Jerry's house for a few minutes where we proceeded to talk about the fine line that defines appropriateness between friends. It was a rather interesting conversation which I would like to continue again another time, but as it was getting late, Justin and I decided to call it a night. We said our good bye to Jerry and headed home.
I'm off to Central Phoenix for blood work first thing in the morning and I'm even taking my Mother with me as a ride-along. I think we're going to grab lunch afterwards, so it will be nice to spend some time with her since I don't have much free time these days to offer her. Wish me luck on my cholesterol, it's been good lately so I'm hoping it's still that way. Cheers!
