@ATA FLIGHT 209 SF TO PHILLY. Once again I've been so wrapped up in my life that I've let my journal slide for almost 2 months without a single entry. It seems that all I could muster was a few short paragraphs on the front page of my website to let people know that I was still alive and updating the site. The past 2 months have just slipped past so quickly for me. I can't even look back and remember what went on during that time period. In some small way this sort of scares me to think that the rest of my life will pass before me just as quickly. Somehow I think that I have to slow things down, get back to actually enjoying life and taking the time to savor those rare few moments that define us and let us know we are truly living.
I'm currently sitting on ATA Flight 209 flight outbound from San Francisco to Philadelphia for business. My Mother is sitting beside me on her way back home from a week long visit for the first time to Northern California. It's been an interesting week for both her and I, and even though I'm glad that she came out to see San Francisco, I'm glad that the trip is over. Not that I didn't enjoy her company but you can only spend so much time with family before entertaining them becomes somewhat boring and repetitive.
Well since I finally have some time I may as well use it too my advantage and do a bit of writing. I'm once again thinking about maybe restructuring my web site again to present the front page of the site as a serious of writings or articles, somewhat the way a newspaper web site present it's content. This would give me content and allow anyone who is interested to dive right into the reading of my thoughts. Maybe I'll think some more of it, I'm not sure yet. One thing is certain, I need to change the structure of my journal so that I can create multiple entries per day. I find it limiting sometimes because I wish to stop a thought and start another thought, or I come back hours later and want to write some more where I've already created and posted for that day. I guess these changes are what keeps me interested in doing the website and make it an ever evolving concept.
