Hello I'm Rich Brown and this is my personal website and blog. I'm just your simple, average, down to earth, professional, out gay man and aspiring circuit boy, living in Phoenix, Arizona with a few things to say while trying to find my place among all the scary, conservative, religious nuts in this sick and twisted world.

@WORK. Whew ... I'm finally all done with the Six Sigma training. That was a painful week to have to sit through. I just took my certification exam and only missed 1 out of 50, which I'm pretty happy about. Now all I have to do is finish work on our project and I'll get my Greenbelt and DFSS Certification. That's pretty exciting. Well, not a whole lot going on right now. I think I'm going to go and work from home the rest of the day, it's Friday. I need a break. :-)

@WORK. So here I am sitting in my third and final week of Six Sigma training. This is almost unbearable to endure. The guy who is my instructor is this genius who has no idea how to communicate with people. He constantly goes off into a tangent of normal distribution curves and other mathematical formulas. I'll be really glad once I take the certification test on Friday and am done with this class.
So on Tuesday I started out on a new weight routine. I'm going to do a 3 day cycle and see how this works out. Justin did arms with me last night and I think we got a pretty good workout overall. Tonight is legs so I'm sure I'm going to be exhausted when I'm done. We just got tickets to go and see Bill Maher on Friday night. That should be a good show, I enjoy what Bill has to say these days.
No real big plans for this weekend. It's Flagstaff Pride in the Pines but I don't think that Justin and I are going to go up. We were planning on it, but we decided we'd just rather save the money and use it during our trip to San Francisco. Speaking of, only 14 more days until we head over to San Francisco. I'm really excited out our trip. It will be our first real vacation in years.
We still don't know what we're going to do with Berg yet. It looks like we're probably just going to have to board him since we can't find anyone who is able to watch him for the week. I'm still really pissed off about that one. I'll get into that later. I better get back to paying attention here.

@HOME. I really can't stand George Bush. I truly believe I have not had such an outright hatred for anyone as much as I do this president. I see him on television and I cringe. I just cannot understand how anyone in this country can support him. He has done nothing in his 4 years as president. I was talking with Mark's father John the other day and he said something that I found very interesting. When John was a child his father told him to watch out for Hitler wrapped in the American flag. John said that he believed that Bush was this person. Interesting thought since everthing comment from this government is "you're either with us or against us" and all this good and evil crap. Sound familiar? I was also watching CNN this morning and heard an interview of someone that survived one of the Nazi death camps and he said this is all surprisingly familiar to 1930's Germany. I wish people would realize what is going on with this country and stand up. Look at the protests in Italy today regarding Bush's visits. Can't people here see what image he is projecting of America to other countries? Although I will continue to believe that the rest of the world is smart enought to know that it's not the American people, but rather our leaders. So many of us in this country are frustrastrated with the why things have been going and hopefully that will show in the November elections. We don't need 4 more years of this bullshit.

@HOME. I'm working from home today and a little tired. I couldn't sleep last night since I fell asleep for a few hours after work.
