I choose those whom I call my friends very
carefully. I take friendship seriously, and
I prefer to surround myself with people who
are intelligent, educated, have goals,
values, motivation, know how to enjoy
themselves, the finer points of life, are
comfortable in a social setting, and love
life to the fullest. Like I said, I don't
take friendship lightly. In my
lifetime I've had the opportunity to meet
many quality people, some of whom have
changed my life forever. In order to keep
this page at a reasonable length I have not
mentioned everyone here, but just the people
in the photo. I would love to list all of
the people whom I gratefully call my friends
but ... You already know who you are.

Justin is my
love, my life partner and my best friend.
We have so much fun together that we
never want to be apart. I
never thought I could meet someone
that would not only share so many
interests but also be able to get me
interested in things I would never
have imagined before. We met
that fateful night in San Francisco
on December 12, 2000 and haven't
been very far apart ever since.
Justin shares my heart, my life and
my peanut butter cups.

My friend, my alarm system and my
guardian. Berg is our 100#, White German Shepherd.
His full name is 'Eisberg Ahead.'
Eisberg is German for Ice Mountain or
Iceberg. He's perhaps one of
the sweetest things that has ever
come into our lives. Justin
and I picked him out from a litter
of 8 puppies in May of 2003, and thought we were picking out a
girl but upon further inspection we
saw he was NOT a girl, but rather a little
boy, so he's our little female
impersonator. He's dedicated,
loving and sweet (as long as he
knows you!) I don't know what our
life would be like without him. |

If every there was a definition of
extended family, Mark would be it.
He's one of my best friends and
might as well be my brother.
Yes we are that close. As for
Andrea, well your
hungry, you and need food, Andrea is
the one who will cook you something
great and then even let you use her
toilet afterwards. Yes it's true,
she's really that kind of person.
Andrea is Mark's wife and sometimes
even friend. We're still not
quite sure how he snagged her.
Rumor has it that he clubbed her and
dragged her by the hair to the
church to be married, but like I
said, just a rumor. |

Part of the SF Crew, I'll never forget that night that
Justin and I crammed into the porta-potty
during Pink Saturday
in San Francisco with Philip. We
should have known what was going on
with this kid back then. Philip
is a super sweet guy and
one of my best friends ever. Even
though he moved to Los Angeles, we
still visit each other a bunch.
I always remember thinking that
since Philip was so new to the
community, he would be the first to
venture out and leave our SF gang of
friends, but to my surprise he hung
around and has turned our friendship
into a lifelong bond. |

Part of the SF Crew, I met Bernard at a social
gathering in San Francisco.
Bernard one of those rare funny,
loving, caring and kind people you
might be lucky enough to meet in
life. As on of my best
friends, and even
somewhat of a mentor to me as a SF
newbie, Bernard is an incredible
person. After many long walks
through the city, and many late
night conversations, Bernard helped
me learn that only after finding the
right balance between things could I
be truly happy in life. |

Tony is a recent addition to our
group of close friends, and he's
really becoming a great friend.
We met Tony through Bernard and
formed an instant friendship with
him. Tony's a super sweet guy
and really fun person to be around.
Tony offered up his house to us for
San Diego Pride with no questions
asked and made us all feel right at
home. Tony's a really good guy
now part of our close circle, he's
the bridge between the San Diego
boys and San Francisco boys. |

I've know Jerry for almost 10 years
now. When Jerry and I first
met he was just finishing up at ASU
and coming out as well. I
remember several nights when we
would just chat on the phone for
hours about politics, life and love.
Jerry is a super sweet, down to
earth friend who I can hang out
with, be myself and just have fun.
We lost touch for a few years
between boyfriends and cities, but
we're now both in Phoenix again and
our friendship is right back to
where we left off. |

Sometimes you just have to have that
person in your life that drives you
nuts. Why? Well no one really knows
the answer. Just kidding, you know
we love you Donnie. Kris, well
she's smart, sweet and a dog lover,
what more can you want. We're
still trying to figure out why she
married Don. It clearly must
be a marriage of convenience ...
come on Donnie, tell us, how much
did you pay? Don and Kris are
great people and great friends, we
love hanging out with them and share
many fond memories together overy
the years. |

It started as a date but we both
realized very quickly that it
instead felt as if we were more like
long lost Czech cousins. Mark
is a great friend and trust me, that
boy has some very interesting
stories from his travels around the
world. Did I also mention he's
the one responsible for Andrea
passing out at our 2003 Xmas Party?
Spending nearly a year here in
Phoenix, Mark's back in SF now and
we love him and miss him dearly, and
enjoy every minute we get to spend
with him these days. |

I met Shane
through some mutual friends back
when I was living out in San
Francisco. Shane is a
sweetheart and one of the most down
to earth guy's you'll ever meet.
He's just one of those guys you can
always count on in life.
Unfortunately we don't get to see
Shane very much anymore because he's
usually busy with work, but he's a
great guy and we miss having him
around. |

Justin and I met Anthony through
Bruce & Tracy at the 2005 Adonis
Party. Anthony had just moved
back from Vancouver and we all hit
it off really well. Shortly
after, Anthony's partner Keith moved
down from Vancouver and the gang was
formed. Aptly named the
P.B.Loco boys because of their
P.B.Loco Cafe in Scottsdale, we
don't get to spend too much time
with them these days as they're both
extremely busy. We wish these
2 wonderful guys the best of luck
and hope to have time with them
again soon. |

Justin and I used to see Bruce &
Tracy out at the same dance parties
and Tracy worked on my floor, so we
finally introduced ourselves.
Bruce and Tracy are so much fun to
hang out with and standing next to
them one usually wonders where they
grow boys this tall. Although
we've only known them for a little
over a year now, they are great guys
and we really look forward to
getting to know them even better and
hopefully spending more time with
them in the future. |

I don't even know what to say about
his child. Ever since the
first day Justin and I met Darin and
Kevin at Charlie's its been a
non-stop laugh fest. Darin's
blog is what inspired me to start
posting photos on mine since they
always looked like they were having
so much fun. We love hanging
out with Darin because you just
never know what's going to come of
out his mouth next. And
lastly, he looks fabulous in a
women's two piece bikini set. |

Sarah is Justin's sister and she's
just such a great person. Jed,
her husband, is a Marine .. Hoo Rah!
and he's such a really down to earth
guy as well. Justin and I
really enjoy going to to visit Sarah
and Jed and spending time with them
both. It's nice for me to know
they are family now. |

Sean
is one of my very best and lifelong
friends. I've known Sean since
that fateful day when we met in
Kindergarten. We went though
High School, were roommates at Penn
State together and I was best man at
his wedding. I remember when
Sean met Suzette at Penn State, he
couldn't have been happier.
Suzette and his two daughters have
been such a great addition to their
lives and Suzette has also become
one of my great friends. While
I don't get to see them as often as
I'd like, I know that when I do get
a chance to spend time with them
it's just like I never left. |

Missy
and Bryan are another pair of my
life long friends. I've known
them both since high school and have
many fond memories together.
While we never thought these two
would end up married, I do take
pride in knowing they first hung out
at my 18th birthday party.
They are both wonderful parents with
two amazing children. I also
don't get to spend as much time with
them as I would like these days, but
they know they're constantly in my
thoughts and I cherish the times
when I make it back to Pennsylvania
and am fortunate enough to have some
time together with them. |
